Complete Digital Demo: How to scan, modify and manufacture using digital tools

Live Webinar on December 16th, 2020 1:00-2:00pm ET – Sign Up Below For Free

The benefits of leveraging digital tools and adopting the digital workflow are surfacing in industry conversations – but what about the “how do I” and “what do I” questions that linger?

There are three main arms to the digital workflow – scanning, digital modification, and fabrication. Each of these arms have numerous options for tools, best practices, methodologies and more which can get overwhelming quickly. This webinar is intended to highlight specific tools and how to use them so you can have better direction on how/if the digital workflow is a good fit for your practice.

What to Expect:

Practice Profile – South Beach O&P will talk about the tools they currently use in their practice to scan, modify and fabricate in the treatment of their patients. They’ll highlight why digital is important to their practice and run through their current workflow at a high-level.

Scanning Profile – Comb O&P will demo their scanner to the audience. Comb is a 3D scanning app built specifically for O&P that allows practitioners to scan patients directly from their iPhone 10, 11 or 12 without any additional hardware. They will go through scanning best practices and show attendees how to use the tool – free trials for all attendees will be available.

Modification Profile – Rapid Plaster will hold a demonstration that teaches attendees how to modify a digital scan prior to fabrication. This digital tool is designed to replicate the process of hand-modifying a positive plaster model without having to pour a single mold.

Fabrication Profile – PVA Med will tie the webinar together by explaining the digital equipment available in order to fabricate a device from a scan. Here attendees will understand not only the options available but the knowledge required to adopt this technology into their own practice (Hint: it’s less than you probably think!).
